Outreach and Social Justice
“My heart is full of gratitude for all the ways you have been a blessing to each other, and to this community” —Kathy Morgan, Rector
Community Meal Programme
With help and donations from our volunteers, we are able to offer FREE take-home lunches at 11:30 EVERY Sunday morning to those in our community.
Greater St. Catharines Social Justice Network
Sharing our passion for social justice and outreach, and our desire to pursue this passion with fellow Anglicans. We learn more about social justice and outreach, explore the different types of actions that can be pursued in the cause of justice, and imagine how we might do this work collaboratively.
Pett's Soup Café
Operating monthly when we are permitted to gather in groups, this valuable ministry offers a choice of 2 soups, a roll, desserts along with coffee or tea all shared with conversation and fellowship. Started in memory of one of our former members, Ruth Pett, funds raised go directly to outreach initiatives in the community.
Community Care
Each week our church members donate food and clothing that is distributed to under-resourced community members in Thorold through Community Care. Staff of the Thorold branch, provides us with suggestions of 'most-needed' items, although any food/toiletries/clean clothes in good condition are welcome.
Every Christmas our church supports the Adopt-a-Family Christmas Program which provides families in need with a Christmas dinner, toys, books, and toiletry items.
Periodically, our church organizes a community food and clothing drive to help re-stock shelves.

Community Care's Mission: We compassionately provide vital services and assistance to individuals and families that meet their basic needs and help bridge their journey to self sufficiency.
